This lovely walk is one of Inverloch's best kept secrets. You have to walk or drive to the eastern end of The Esplanade, past Cuttriss Street, then go all the way through the caravan and camping ground until you reach the carpark at the start of the walk. From the carpark you proceed through scrubby vegetation to the start of the boardwalk over the saltmarsh. This takes you to the bridge over Screw Creek, from where you can view the mangroves, and look out along the small estuary to the beach. From there you access a walking circuit which takes you through scrubland then up to Townsend Bluff and wonderful views of Anderson Inlet and Cape Smythe on the opposite shore. The walk is approximately 1.5kms in length, and takes you through some diverse and interesting coastal micro-environments. Walk back along the estuary and return to your car via the beach, tides permitting.
