I always go to trip advisor for places to eat in new areas and well I should have listened to recent reviews on this place. Going in I saw trip advisor voted it one of the best places so I was positive about it. You have to walk past all these yummy jellies and sauces to get to the resturant it's self which was fine, you are able to sample some tasty toppings! The buffet didn't look too bad so my hubby and I got that and the girls got burgers off the menu.
The fried chicken wasn't too bad, a little dry. They had a chicken covered in some thick sauce, a bit sweet and spicy. Sad to say that chicken died twice. It wad really over cooked. The pulled pork wasn't bad but needed more of a smokey flavor to it. The side dishes were ok for the most part but the green beans tasted off somehow. I did try the cookies and cream bread pudding which was very comforting. The girls felt their burgers were overcooked as well.
We paid $50 for two week day priced buffets and their burgers. I would have been more upset if I paid a weekend price for that meal.
I do have to say the staff was friendly though. It was fairly quiet while we ate and the place is clean and the various wood work inside and out was cool. However I don't see us coming back.
