I ate at Go-zen a couple of days ago for dinner - the first visit in over two years and happy to report it has not changed a bit. Still hard to find, still basic and simple and a little lacking in atmosphere and still the best Japanese food (that I have found) in Sydney for $20-30/head including drinks.
Innovative, fresh, plentiful and totally Japanese.
On a side note, if you're from overseas you may not be familiar with the concept of BYO - Bring Your Own alcohol - many small restaurants will charge you a small 'corkage' fee and let you bring your favourite wine or beer - this restaurant is one of them!
