Basic but that's all I'm after.
I would appreciate a jug and a mug to be able to make a cup of coffee in my room but it's not critical.
Many thanks Brian

We stayed at this hotel when traveling from CBR to SYD to drop a family member to the airport.

First the good things :
They accommodate more people in a room with bunk beds
Service staff is extremely courteous, gentle and accommodating
Location rocks . Very close to the city and pretty close to airport
Bed was comfortable and clean

Bad things :
Rooms are terribly small. More like a train compartment
Bathroom was smelly
There was barely any light in the bathroom
Basin tap was very very slow. Shower was fine
Everything was paid - parking, breakfast, luggage storage, tea , coffee everything was in a vending machine

Overall slept well but could have been better in lots of areas

Awesome spot if you need to be near the airport. Pakring is free up to 8pm, so you only need to pay if staying overnight. Good option if you have to transfer and have half a day on your hands and want to have somewhere decent and clean to stay but don't want to pay the earth or access to a frequent flyer lounge. $109 for a queen size room, cheap. Its a no frills hotel. The bathroom is very basic, as the shower only has a curtain and the whole floor will get wet as its small, its like a capsule bathroom that they have inserted pre made. Only main issue was no shampoo provided, only to bars of soap, usually this is all provided, but don;t expect anything fancy. Overall, very basic, but clean, comfortable and quite even though next to the airport and major road and macdonalds next door.

Located at a fantastic place, the hotel is more than just a hotel, as it is affordable, and the best option to stay over night at Sydney with family, it almost feels like a second home.

Although the rooms are small, they do the job and we are able to spend quality time with family.

Some people may think that the Formula 1 hotels are a bit too basic but when you're tired all you really need is a clean place with a good bed and bathroom and shower. These hotels fulfil the criteria without breaking the bank and this one is no exception. In a very convenient location only an easy walk from the domestic airport, it's very easy to see why it was fully booked .

The staff were very helpful and provided information about how to get to the train station and buses in a ready made photocopy map with route information and how to get to the stops. Although the airport has its own station, the hotel was very wise not to mention it as an option as the gate fees for using the airport station was horrendous. The normal station is about the same distance from the hotel as the airport one so it makes sense to use the cheaper option.

All and all a very good experience. Rooms were clean, although there were scuff marks on the walls from close encounters with luggage. Bed was a comfy queen sized one, not to soft or hard so providing a very good night's sleep. Would have good to have extra power outlets though as charging camera and phone didn't leave any outlets for the laptop.

Staying at Formula 1 is a good experience to anyone likes to have a difference. Facilities were very good; Customer service was also good. I wish all the best to anyone planning to stay at Formula 1.

Good location, easy to get to and from domestic airport, have stayed there many times before, would stay there again. Friendly staff easy approachable and appears someone there all the time, rooms were clean, everything in working order. My stay was short this time but have stayed longer on other occassions.
