The IBIS Airport is good value. Friendly staff, clean rooms,affordable dinning. Idea lplace to stay when arriving late afternoon or during the night. Great venue when are waiting to catch an overseas flight,cruise ship or journeying on from Sydney the n ext day.

We were only here on a night stay between two flights but the hotel was nice and fresh. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were decent and clean.

Bus to the airport is quite regular but is is not free

This hotel is very clean, and even though our room was at the front you could hardly hear the traffic. Most of the staff were helpful and pleasant, except the chef! Don't know if she was just having an off day but she was very impolite and unpleasant towards anyone around her including other staff! This is an ideal hotel to stay in if you are flying out of Sydney as they also provide a very regular shuttle bus.

Reason for Stay:
Arriving from New Zealand for overnight stay prior to pm flight back to UK.
Location:
Very close to airport so short shuttle time required prior to flight.10 minute walk to railway station with short time trip into central Sydney. Would not want to do it with luggage.
Reception:
Efficient speedy completion of administration. No problem leaving many suitcases in storage on departure day as our flight was in the afternoon and we wanted to go into Sydney city

Parking available on site.

Off putting the fact that the Hotel sign out side has one letter falling off.Depressing barack room corridors decor to rooms.Makes one wonder if this lack of maintenance is mirrored in other aspects of the location.
Room.
Bedroom was small but this not unexpected for for a semi budget airport hotel. Adequate and clean and had a decent nights sleep which is all I wanted.
Bathroom.
Module cruise liner design but had a decent sized shower.
Value:
Paid around A$180 for the room which seemed good value when compared with the going rates for other hotels in the area.
Food:
Had an evening meal in the Brasserie. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food served from a limited menu with good service. Total cost A$131 for 4 including beverages.
Shuttle Service:
Compared with Europe where hotel shuttle services are complimentary it was irritating that there was a confusing way to find the departure location at Sydney airport and following a long delay of nearly an hour one is then asked to pay A$12.
Summary:
Wanted a relaxing overnight stay at a reasonable price. This is a 3*+ hotel which fulfilled our objectives.

We stayed here for one night before our early flight the following day. Very basic rooms with cruise ship type bathroom! However it was clean and had everything you need for one night. We only ate breakfast there which to be honest wasn't very memorable. Overall for a one night stay absolutely fine.
