“Quirky Curious and Quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

What a combination. Had been here for morning coffee and toast, and like getting the water served from a Hendriks bottle - very cool. Dinner here is a real treat. If you can go somwhere that makes brussell sprouts taste great (Crispy sprouts, fetta, bacon and currants), then you have gotta know that the rest is going to be sensational. Presentation of food was up there with the best, and not at all pretentious. The cocktails were great, knowledgeable staff really friendly, a great place to choose.

“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

This bar and restaurant has the best of Sydney (the view and location) and Melbourne (quirky and cool) in one place.
The cocktails are fabulous and the food interesting and tasty. The staff are friendly and attentive.
By far and away our favourite place in Manly.

“Cracking little place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012 via mobile

This place is cool without trying hard to be cool. The food was delicious. The sticks and stones was excellent, prawns delicious, and even though we had some chips, they were great too.

The food is far from healthy, but it is well made and very tasty. Great little place, waiting staff are brilliant.

“Quirky little bar / cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

It's funny; it's got that Melbourne boutique bar feel in Manly. They carry it off well too with a simple selection of drinks and the oddest bar food menu I've seen in a while. It's got some pretty funny books (I'm having that Magnum P.I. annual '86 by the way) in the library and the menu is stapled inside books too. there are games to play if you have room on your table. It's like something from my childhood with chicken nuggets in a little box, fish fingers and sliders - but best of all - chip butties (but you might need to ask).

Service is excellent; the staff are genuinely interesting people and love what they do and where they work. It's a surfer hangout during the day with ladies that lunch. In the evening it's the tourist bus and the kids too cool for Manly wine and all of it works.

It's a place you want to return to. Now if only I could get some poker dice from behind the bar.
