“Fresh local Japanese”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

This is a terrific little restaurant in Drummoyne. The food is always fresh and of high quality. Service is friendly. Good for a small group. Great atmosphere in this tiny space. It is always pretty full but if it full you can just have a drink across the road at the pub and they'll phone you when a table comes up.

“Great Japanese in Drummoyne.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

The food here is great. The Gyoza is delicious and the sashimi is fresh and tasty. Hard to go past the good ole bento box but the pork belly str fry is good. Would love to see a few more ramen options. Restuarant is also very small. The Aussie girl who is the waitress there makes the joint run smoothly. Highly recommended.

“Easlily the best Sushi in Sydney.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

The food here is fantastic from the various sushi rolls to the Chirasi Don to the extraordinary special bento box. It's a small but quaint venue that has recently been refitted and maybe the music selections need to be adjusted.. but the food/service/serve sizes and value are/is outstanding.

“Japanese in the Inner West”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

Small Japanese restaurant catering for small groups, family and solos. Busy for takeaway. Very busy most of the time. The wagyu beef miso yaki melts in your mouth served with stir fried vegetables. The salmon teriyaki was cooked perfectly. The rolls are all made with brown rice. The Super Prawn roll is my personal favourite. The sushi and sashimi are made fresh to order. The bento box contain shashimi, tempura, chicken teriyaki, salad and delicious Agedashi Tofu. Children are well catered for with a kids menu and baby rolls. Kids chop sticks and plastic cups are popular. Open for lunch 6 days (closed Sunday) and dinner 7 nights. Special lunch menu available with all meals receiving complementary Miso Soup. Hubby and I go at least once per week. It is our favourite local restaurant, and the best value Japanese around. Limited license Saki and Japanese beer. BYO
