I had a great stay in Marco Polo. The pool staff helped me out a lot they told me where everything was and they pointed me to the right direction. The beach was very clean and Michael Juan Alex and Diana always had a smile on their face. I will definitely come back!!

We have spent 2 months here and will be back. Yes, the hotel may be a little dated, but overall adequate and secure. The valet crew, Walter, Henry, Maria, all hustle. Just call about 15 minutes before you need to depart and your car will be waiting. The pool staff is great. Juan, Alix, Michael and Diana are all great and greet you with a smile. Can't beat the beach,, after all, it is the Atlantic we are viewing.
We find the location to be very convenient to a lot of great spots in Miami.

I wanted to stay on the beach and see the miami nightlife.I must applaud the service of your bellman one young man stood out in particularly Alexander S. was very helpful.Ales knew all the hotspots to go to on the Beach he reccommended great activities and restaurants.The room was decent bed was very comfy pillows were soft no complaints there.The Pizza Bar was delicious after a late night I was craving something fast and didnt want to order from Dominoes I went downstairs and had one of the best slices I ever had.Our entire group was pretty amazed the service we received.Reading some of the reviews had me a little leary but I am glad to be an optimistic person and gave you all a chance.My next trip to Miami I definitely will be statying at Marco Polo. I do reccommend an upgrade with some of the rooms some of the furniture is outdated and a little worn out.Also I want to send a final thanks to the entire Concierge staff but three people stood out to me Diego,JP, and Alexander very respectable and friendly employees.

Was part of a group that had made arrangements for an early check in (normal check in is 4pm). We told them a head of time that we would be arriving around 9am, and we were told that wouldnt be a problem.... After traveling all night we arrived at the Hotel at 9am to find out NONE of the 5 rooms we had booked were ready - BUT the front desk lady said they were working on them and they should be ready in about 45mins..... Ok, that fine.... 3 Hours later we were still waiting!!!!! And she went on to say that it would be at least another hour on top of that... She lied to us over and over.... When we finally got the room, the bathroom toilet wouldn't stop running.... Very noisy... The pool was average... The beach in the back was nice... The complimentary buffet breakfast was pretty good (for free).... The jewel was the Pizza Place downstairs... Their pizza was VERY Good!...

Room Tip: Don't Pay Over $100 per night

We do try to accommodate all requests for our groups when we are notified in advance. We are truly sorry your early check in request was not done properly.
I am copying my Sales Dept as well as Front Office and Housekeeping regarding this issues so we avoid similar situations in the future.
On the other hand, thank you for your review regarding the Buffet Breakfast, Pool and Beach Area.

Stayed Feb. 13, 2013 with husband/boys-14 and 15. Not much else available so booked about a week ahead. Knew about $18 valet fee--not included--but didn't tell us to call way ahead to get the car--took over 20 min to get. Charged extra $13 for hotel amenities-pool/ but came back from cruise on strip thinking we would eat /drink at pool bar and grill--both closed at 6 p.m ---who does that? So we did go to indoor bar--maybe 5 other people in bar---bartender very helpful and got food for the kids (gratuity is already included though so watch that) We had also paid $40 extra person fee (got room with 2 double beds for boys), but guess that charge didn't include continental breakfast ($15 each) So told my 15 year old "wrestler"-(195 lbs) to go ahead instead of me since he was hungry. Came up to room and said it was the most disgusting food he had ever had (he eats anything). As far as room--hair in bathtub--beds seemed clean. Anything you want for beach is extra--chair $10 and up. We usually go somewhere around the playa/cozumel area and this was horrible compared to the cleanliness/prices you get there. And my husband almost got in a fight because a man wouldn't hold the elevator for an elderly lady--and yes the elevators are the slowest I have ever experienced, but rude rude rude.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our property.
We are disappointed to learn about recent stay. Our Pool Bar and Grill do close at 6:00 PM , we are contemplating the option to keep it open til later over the summer months.
Regarding the breakfast, we have made many improvements over the past couple of months.
We listen to our guests and we take their feedback very seriously.

Hotel is in serious need of renovation. It felt dirty. The staff was very nice and accommodating when we needed help. The beach was littered with trash. The pool was okay. I would not stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

We have started soft renovations of the property such as the Lobby Area and now moving to the Meeting Space as well as Pool area/furniture.
Our beaches in Sunny Isles are rated as one of the Top Beaches in Florida and the country. The City of Sunny Isles does a great job keeping our beaches clean. We are very sorry to hear they were not at the time you were here.

This is a good, but old hotel. Needs a renovation.
They provide a good service and the people are committed, like Mrs Helena Alcantara, a very kind and responsive person. You should have more employees like her.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the ocean side.
