I was recommended by some friends who loved the place so we decided to book a few nights of our HONEYMOON at the acqualina. So far the cleanliness of the hotel and quality food are the only positives of the stay thus far. I'm writing this review from the couch in room 1403b which is a 1 bedroom suite. The room itself is very nice and comfortable but we are having AC issues in the bedroom that have led to 2 sleepless night's.

Service has been extrememy spotty, we ordered food at the costa grill and never received it. How do you miss a whole appetizer order (shrimp cocktail and crispy Kalahari) never got either.. when we told the server we didn't even get an apology.

They.have a house car with a driver John who is very nice and accomodating, he took us to the mall and drove us back. We did some shopping which brings us to the worst part of this trip.. my bag with brand new blazer was either stolen or mistakenly thrown out. I'm assuming it was mistakenly thrown out but they have not offered me any compensation besides breakfast and a nightcap. Keep in mind I never received the nightcap and rarely eat breakfast.

In conclusion I spent roughly $800 a night for 4 nights and I'm looking to.checkout early and grab another hotel room somewhere else to salvage the Honeymoon!

The single best resort in South Florida - period.

Service by far surpasses the likes of the Ritz, the Seasons or Setai. There is no hotel like it. The rooms are immaculate. The attention to detail is incredible and customer attention is priority ONE.

From valet, to all restaurants, to in-room dining, the service is just there. There is an amazing amount of energy and happiness radiating from employees of the Acqualina that you just don't get anywhere else.

Spent an entire week there for business and decided to spend the weekend. It was truly amazing. The spa is fabulous as are all of the restaurants. You cannot go wrong.

Just returned from a short trip to Miami - and would not hesitate to recommend the Excellent Acqualina Resort and Spa Hotel. The ocean view rooms are superb, and a lot of hotels could
learn a lesson on customer service from the friendly efficient staff at the Acqualina.
Yes it is expensive but I will hopefully return soon.

Acqualina deserves its reputation as one of the top hotels in Miami. We have stayed here twice and on both occasions have had excellent suites, immaculately furnished and very clean. The pool areas,dining rooms and beach are kept in great shape and you are well looked after by a very attentive staff.

It is not cheap and for a visitor from the UK it is something of a shock to find service charges and gratuities added to a dining bill which are equivalent to around 40%. You are then asked whether you would like to add a further voluntary gratuity. However I understand this approach is the norm in up market US hotels. Forget your bank balance and enjoy the experience.
