“comfortable bed, mediocre room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

At £38 the room wasn't expensive and the bed was comfortable but the curtains didn't meet in the middle letting light in and the bathroom fan next door was very loud. Food options on site are very limited and dire......
Half the price of a Premier Inn, but half the hotel......

Stayed here on our UK Winter Tour. Great experience like many other Travelodge Hotels. Friendly staff, warm room, good facilities and value for money.

Highly recommended for modern backpackers who just need a room for resting & sleeping before travelling again the next day.

Rooms are what you expect. Noise was bad from corridors and adjacent bathrooms. Also those above or using stairs being inconsiderate. No shower gel in dispenser( yes I usually bring my own but assumed and had to vacate a nice warm shower and then resume it) overall as expected. Not a Travelodge issue but sign posting in Wales is poor at best and that includes major and minor roads and interests. A better Travelodge sign as you leave the M4 and one indicating a left to go to the football stadium might help!

I stayed here on a Saturday night when wales were playing south africa at rugby in cardiff and I couldn't get a reasonably priced hotel in the city for love nor money. It was cheap, very easy to find and clean. It cost £21 to get a taxi into town and parking was free. I didn't eat breakfast there so can't comment on that but the staff on reception were all nice and friendly and i managed to sleep really well.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2014

Stayed here on Saturday 1st November for one night.
During the night I was woken up three times by the noise of the rain water pouring out of either broken or blocked guttering, this was not good as I was staying here between working 12 hour shifts in Cardiff and getting up at 0500!
