Stayed at this hotel before. You go to a Travelodge and one gets a basic standard. However, upon waiting for booking in, a staff member R warns us about behaviour standards and acceptable 'noise levels' etc in a tone reminiscent of what you got from your primary school teacher because 'he had guests flying early from the airport' ?! Thoroughly humiliating-note we had demonstrated no bad behaviour nor were warned as such during our stay, TRAVELODGE, do not make assumptions as to your guests. THEN as we were given rooms on ground floor, from approximately 08:00 WE AS GUESTS were repeatedly disturbed by the portable reception phone on a person or attendant trolley repeatedly sounding. So what now about YOUR NOISE TRAVELODGE STAFF? Yet more poor customer service from this chain I have received this year which I will be duly noting in writing. Note the phrase 'you get what you pay for'. In future I'll pay £10..... For a tent.
