Our first night in the area and we needed to relax and some food after a long journey. We chose the Wine Bar and just about squeezed in. We were offered small samples of wine to choose which we wanted and ordered a tapas platter. it was all brilliant. The tapas, from across the road, was more than we could eat and the wine was excellent and good value.
The landlord then ended up sending us away with candles (we had left our cottage in blackness as the fuses had blown) and the offer of a travel cot for our granddaughter who was arriving a few days later. Presteigne is a delightful small town where people still have time to care.
This wine bar is definitely worth a visit
