“Thoroughly enjoyable experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

We have visited the Centre on many occasions so think that it is about time that we left a review!

What a fantastic display of craftsmanship!! We've always been made to feel very welcome by all the craftsmen AND WOMEN at the centre.

We don't have young children but clearly the playground is popular too.

In summary, a great venue for a Day Out, particularly if it is not "beach weather".

We'll continue to call in whenever we're out west.

“Enjoyable visit spoilt by stale white rolls and scones in cafe”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

I have broken plenty of journeys at this interesting craft centre and usually have lunch or a snack in the cafe, which has an interesting menu. Today one of our two menu choices was excellent in quality: the Spanish Omelette with salad and pitta bread. The other, the ham sandwich in a white roll was ruined because the roll was very stale. The scone was also hard and stale. My mother left over half of her roll, as did the customers on the next table. Please don't spoil a lovely cafe by offering customers stale products.

We were very disappointed to receive your review as we pride ourselves on serving freshly prepared food and drink. We are sorry that your mother did not enjoy her roll and that she left it half eaten. If you had spoken with a member of staff, we would have happily replaced her sandwich.
All members of staff have been spoken to about your incident and clearly someone made a mistake in the kitchen. Procedures have been put in place to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Once again we are very sorry.

“'Real craftsmanship'”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

The great thing about this craft centre is that they are real working workshops with the artist in residence in each one. The wood furniture is excellent and although seems pricey when you look at furniture in high street shops it is actually reasonable as it is all hand made and unique. The pottery dragons with incense billowing from there noses are a must and again unique. Many many other crafts too and a nice cafe and play area.

“Great choice of craft shops”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

Always somewhere to stop when in Mid-North Wales.

The pottery, candle and leather shop I have used for years! Good to see it surviving in the days of big supermarkets selling everything!

“Well worth visiting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

Good range of small craft units, many with viewing areas allowing you to see the craftspeople at work. We spent about a half a day there. Good place to get gifts from that are a bit different. King Arthurs Labyrinth and mine also onsite - although we didn't go down either of those. Our daughter spent some time choosing and painting a ceramic pot to be glazed, fired and posted to her, at a cost of about a tenner (an activity for adults and youngsters) she could easily have spent a couple of hours in there - a good activity if its raining outside. Cafe onsite is good (nice quality) but a bit expensive. Take a packed lunch if you want to keep costs down - there are loads of outdoor picnic areas. Could easily spend a full day here, particularly if you go into King Arthur's Labyrinth as well. We'll definitely visit again and spend a full day next time.

Thank you for a wonderful "first" review for the Corris Craft Centre. So pleased that you had fun painting your own pottery, there's also candle dipping and rustic furniture building. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
