My husband and I drove all around Wales for over a week and wanted to stay in Laugharne for 2 nights due to its location in the Pembrokeshire Coast whilst also being close to Gower.
The price was great at £50 / night and being that there were no reviews, was a bit of a risk, but the rooms on the website looked new and so I thought it would be worth the chance. And it was!
Sarah has just started out doing the B&B thing and so the rooms are brand new. They are attic conversions, so you need to watch your head bumping in some corners, but that did not bother me at all as the everything else about the place was great.
The bed was the most comfortable one we slept in the whole journey, probably being that it was new. Everything was very clean and crisp, white and in Ikea decor. We had amazing views into the estuary with the castle hovering just above us. The skylight was great to look up at when the sun was shining, and we had our own balcony loooking into the garden.
When entering the home, it is a little gem hidden behind closed walls, with a beautiful small exotic garden and sun room to walk through on your way up. The entrance to the rooms is separate from the rest of the house and you feel as though you have your own apt. / flat.
I was happy not to eat yet another cooked breakfast, and be able to wake up whenever I wanted. There is a small refridgerator in the room stocked with juice, milk and bread, whilst also leaving cereals, organic tea, a kettle, toaster and brand new dishes to use. There is a little table to eat on in the room as well, plus a flat screen TV.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to others. Great location, room, and atmosphere.
