“not always customer friendly”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Ordered a couple of offshore tickets by phone (£60each), paid £3 to park in order to pick them up in St Davids town. then had to drive to another car park where we had to pay another £3 to park, walked up a lane to get to the boat. There are a few free parking spaces a little nearer but not many and they were full more than half an hour before the boat went out.
There are lots of steps going down to the dock so not suitable for everyone.
We waited around for over half an hour after the time booked. Late because there had been a gap between bookings so we were told they had been busy answering e-mails and buying fuel, leaving 11 passengers ( a full boatload) sitting around waiting. We were kitted out with windproof jackets, and loaded onto the boat, given lifejackets and given a safety talk before setting out.
Saw quite a few birds a few seals and some rissos dolphins in the distance, thousands of gannets flying over our heads then had a mad dash back to shore, very cold at speed, even with the jackets.
A very expensive trip probably would have seen as much going on a shorter trip.

“Cold, Wet and so Exciting.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

I went on an off shore trip it took about 31/2 to 4 hours. The staff were all very friendly, helpfull and very knowledgeable. We went in the afternoon and saw so many birds including puffins, and went to an island covered and I mean covered in gannets it was amazing. We also saw seals and purpoises (unfortunately no dolphins but thats life). I loved it and would love to go again.

“Highlight of holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Fantastic way to spend some time if you’re down in this neck of the woods. We went on the hour long trip around Ramsey Island. All very well organised. On the boat Thea and Hannah were in charge and they were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We saw seals, numerous birds and elephant in the cliff. Take the trip and you’ll understand what I mean!
Advice – get the shuttle bus from town – car park not very big down where the boat is launched. And quite a few steps so be prepared – but worth it for wonderful views.

“Excellent value and very informative”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

The excursion lasts an hour or so and is effected via ribs seating up to 11 passengers with 2 well briefed and extremely competent crew. You get to sample a bit of the exciting performance of the craft but the real interest lies in having the various bird and seal life and associated habitat pointed out, and the chance to nose in and explore various nooks, sea caves and crannies that other craft would struggle to manage. Also a fascinating up close and personal look at a really quite spectacular "tidal race"- I have never seen anything like it- the sea level on one side really IS lower than the other. Not cheap at £25 each but don't let that put you off as it really is good value for money. Particularly blessed by fine weather and a calm sea.

“Awesome day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

We took the Ramsey island experience in a Rib which takes around 1h 30 mins around the island. Great guide and boat captain, very friendly and informative. We are family of 5 with 3 children, 9 6 and 3. They all really enjoyed especially seeing the seals. Absolutely loved it!
