“Pricey but nice.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

Fantastic lunchtime food. Great cakes and organic produce. Gorgeous setting at stackpole quay, also not far from the best beach in wales.

“Nice tearoom, very cramped inside”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

Tearoom itself is very cramped as they have wedged too many tables in it. The orchard and courtyard are lovely, if the weather is OK. Food is good, portions ample, prices as you would expect for a tourist area, slightly high. A nice stop off on the coastal park walk. Be aware that early in the season they sometimes close as soon as they have run out of cakes - rather than staying open for their advertised hours!

“Sweet and Savoury Cream Teas”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

After a long hike around Stackpole Head we finally got to the tea rooms at the quay for a late lunch. I had the savoury cream tea, a large tasty herb scone with cream cheese and tomatoes, my wife had the traditional cream tea. All good quality food.

Service was slow and after I was served the queue was out of the door, prices are also a bit more than a regular cafe but with no competition you take what you can.

“Hearty lunch and impressive scones”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

After a lovely walk along the cliffs it was time to refuel. The boathouse tearooms at Stackpole Quay is just the job.
Very friendly staff produced a tasty lunch. We were also impressed by the scones and had two savoury and two fruit ones to takeaway for tea. They tasted as good as they looked.

“Very Enjoyable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

Exceeded my expectations by some margin. At first glance it seems on the pricey side for a cafe, but, the food itself was worth every penny. I thoroughly enjoyed the Boatman's Lunch, strangely just like a Ploughman's in many ways, really enjoyable & good value. Stackpole Quay is well worth seeking out, scenic with many walking opportunities along the coast & Stackpole Estate itself, cared for by the National Trust.
