“Wonderful, relaxing, equipped with absolutely everything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013 for a stay in March 2013

This place is a bit like New Zealand - you don't want to tell too many people how gorgeous it is in case they all go there.....

Lanlas Farm is in a fabulous position with huge views. Easy to get to stunning beaches and even to Pembrokeshire. The accommodation was perfect for us and our dog. Brilliantly equipped kitchen if you like cooking (we do), comfortable couches by the fire and perfectly fine bedrooms & bathroom.

For city people it is wonderful to just sit outside and listen to the birds or lambs or chickens. And to watch the hilarious Indian Runners - one of whom thinks he is a chicken.

Great visit - excellent VFM and we hope to return.

We have just come back from Lanlas farm cottage and i miss it already . The owners create a generous and relaxed environment. providing everything you could need .
The animals adopt you, chickens, dogs, pigs !
It was such a treat to accompany Louise as she fed the gorgeous pigs ! they ambled down from the woods in the morning with the sun lighting up the valley and crisp autumn leaves all around.
we loved it.
thank you for a great stay we will be back.

“Visited in 2005 and have returned many times since....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012 for a stay in April 2012

Lanlas Farm is our haven. Beautiful cottages (we've stayed in both) beautiful surroundings and a wonderful sense of peace. The cottages are of an excellent standard. Log fires, central heating and all mod cons.
We usually visit, just the two of us for birthdays and anniversarys, but last year we took our two boys and they absolutely loved it. Kathy, Louise and Clive have thankfully kept the spirit of Lanlas alive since taking over from Jo & Linney. The animals on the farm are an added bonus and become a part of the family during our stay. Lewis, the beautiful big ginger cat is mine (and everyone else's) favourite.
We don't tend to venture out too much when we visit as the farm itself is what we go for. However; there are some beautiful local beaches, walks and shops nearby. Newquay is a lovely place to see, especially during the warmer months. And Devils bridge is a must see.

Can't say just how much I love this place and hope to return again and again.

“Can't wait to return”

The most relaxing and peaceful holiday I've had. Took 3 dogs and they had a wonderful time. The welcome was warm and helpful and the people in the Lampeter were really friendly. The views are breathtaking and even better after a hike to the top of the hill. We walked in woods and went to the beach. The house was so spacious and yet cozy. The most wonderful thing of all was the silence! Just so peaceful.
Recommend this house to anyone who wants a relaxing break, a base for hiking, cycling or just being out in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

“Excellent cottage, well equipped, nicely decorated and dog friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012 for a stay in October 2012

This cottage is one of the best we've stayed at. Well equipped kitchen and a very thoughtful welcome pack of eggs, bread, milk and sausages - coupled with a few things to make you feel at home if you have no energy to shop immediately. It's beautifully thought out, with little touches (the card to hire DVDs, the Wii, the books on the shelf) to make you feel like you have your home comforts away from home. And of course the dog came too.
(We liked having the chickens outside the door in the morning)

“Spacious, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012 for a stay in July 2012

My partner and I have been going to Lanlas farm since 2009 for long weekends off from London as well as full weeks away with the whole family. In winter it's a cosy escape and a lovely place to sit by the fire and read while in summer we've had long walks and gathered round the BBQ for long lazy evenings. The cottages are spacious and well equipped, including a Wii for high family entertainment on rainy days! There are some great things to do nearby, including accessible walks in Cors Caron nature reserve and a 30 minute drive away is beautiful Mwnt bay for those who like a wild swim or a walk along the breathtaking Pembrokeshire coastal path.
The new owners have kept the magical feel of Lanlas alive - the gardens are looking great and the animals still provide 24/7 entertainment. I would definitely recommend Lanlas farm cottages for a fantastic break in Wales.

“Faultless”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012 for a stay in June 2012

Absolutely the best holiday i've had within the UK. Louise and the team tended to our every whim. Breakfast items were provided for the length of our stay, which included delicious eggs that had been laid that morning on the farm. Y Stabl was hugely spacious and included everything we needed.

If you love animals, this is the place for you. We were greeted each morning by an array of farm friends who were waiting for us on our doorstep and the cats come in to join you in the cottage if you so wish.

The lanlas team are all healers and I highly recommend having a healing session - extremely enlightening experience.
