“Great place to eat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

Called in for a quick lunch, and opted for a brie and cranberry baguette. Very friendly staff, served quickly. Reasonable prices.

“Nice town, best place to eat.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

Visited Lampeter for the first time yesterday, a lovely smart town, to see the Kaffe Fassett Quilt exhibition.
Had an excellent lunch, for service, food quality and price. Highly recommended.

“wonderful local establishment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

A regular customer to this wonderful little cafe. They have turned a quirky little space into a rather wonderful hidden gem. Their sandwich, panini and daily fresh soup choices are superb making use of local produce, such as local cheeses which they also sell. The portion sizes are generous and great value. The service is always spot on, friendly and helpful.

“Best cafe in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

This is my local cafe, so I am biased. However, for a good reason! The staff are truly fab and very helpfull. The food is also extemely good for what it is. The bacon baguets in the morning really hit the spot, and come with ample sause on the side
The coffee is very good and also ethically traded (union hand roasted)
The cakes are scrumptious! My favorite is the chocolate Guinness cake. Really worth trying, just remember to have one slice, Leave some for me!

The soups are always very good and varied, I particuly liked the butternut squach, coconut and lime!
The main dishes are very good and remarkable value.
Lunch time is always very busy, a mark of just how popular this cafe is.

Great selection of local cheeses as well.

Thanks for the lovely review- it's really great to hear from a regular customer who clearly knows our offering well and enjoys what we do (we've all been trying to figure out who you are!)

By genuine coincidence, the soup today is the Butternut Squash, Coconut and Lime- if you are in and order it, please let us know that you wrote this review...

“Excellent apple cake”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

A pleasant, friendly cafe situated in the Town Hall building, look for the clock and the cafe is below it.
We popped in for apple cake and cold drinks, the cake was moist, tasty and well presented. Food served to other customers looked equally appetising .
The surroundings were pleasant and clean, score on the door was a high 5!
