This was my second occasion to stay here. On my last visit I joined the Wyndem loyalty scheme which unknown to me provided me with a free drink and chocolate bar as I checked in. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Check in took 4 mins and had to register the car reg due to 2 hour time limit in car park which then provides you with free parking. Standard motel room with double bed, clean sheets, flat screen TV and free Wi-fi. The en-suite offered a bath with shower over which was welcome.
Overall excellent value for money with pleasant staff

Oh well here goes!! where do i start?? um right well all bedlinen and duvets are stained and needs replacing with Fogarty quilts instead of Tesco value, on arrival i found a used sanitary towel behind bathroom door, loads of dust under bed, false nails under sofa bed, in fact i was staying there for so long i took it upon myself to just clean the room myself, think its the only clean it had lol. room also smelt of pevious guests smoking in room, would'nt recommend this place to an alien never mind to another part of the race so for me im gonna give it a score of nill.

Room Tip: Dont book this hell hole.

At check in we had to wait as reception unattended.rooms are spacious and well equipped for the price paid.However the bath was filthy,soap scum and a tide line that had been there some time,broken kettle,upholstery on desk chair frayed and torn,and very noisey.Reception kindly let us move to a back room we have a 2 year old who was kept awake most of the first night as were we.The 2nd room was the same the bath was filthy,rest of the room as the first was ok.On waking the next morning,looking forward to a nice shower we discovered the shower had no shower head completely missing!I went to reception,but by this time we were in a rush to leave and reception again was unattended so we just left.the rooms in question are rooms 14 and 21.To sum up the value for money is good,but the hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment,attention needs to be paid particularly to cleanliness of bathrooms and maintenance schedules need to be adhered too.I was a former executive chef for Hilton Hotels and Millenium Copthorne for Over ten years so i have 1st hand catering and hospitality experience.

Room Tip: ask for a back room,ones at front of hotel are very noisey

Nothing at all in the area under £100 a night when we found this on lastminute.com. We had a room at the back of the hotel - it was almost as quiet as any hotel accomodation. If the door from reception was oiled it would have been even quieter! Room clean, shower/bath worked well. Tissues/shower gel provided so more Premier Inn standard than Travel Lodge, but with Travel Lodge price. Plenty of services on site to use - McDonalds breakfast. Just don't follow the postcode provided to get there. We were not using the M4 and got a bit lost. If you are already on the M4, then no problem. Bed not the best in the world but we always take sleeping bags and lay them on top of the quilts so never much of an issue.

I wasn't expecting much from this hotel - it was a last minute booking and we just needed somewhere to sleep - that's me, the wife, our 4 year old son and our dog Billy. Booking was easy, location is ideal at the services just of junction 23A of the M4, excellent welcome from the receptionist, room spotless and everybody happy!

Booked a month in advance on their website, got confirmation and booking number but no room when we arrived. Given alternative option, room like a sauna, when you open the window noise from services carpark all night. Sweated like a pig and no sleep. Only one set of towels for two adults. Bathroom door would not close. No extra pillows in room.Nobody on reception to complain to. Would not stay here if they paid me, thank god it was only a single night.
