Upon a visit to Anglesey, my wife and I happened upon this place whilst walking our dog. We were allowed to have a few relaxing drinks in the beer garden, in the glorious weather, all the while being allowed to keep the dog with us. We were very happy to of been allowed to keep the dog with us and he was very happy with the petting he received when the staff collected our empty glasses. The staff were very attentive and friendly and we will definitely be visiting here again.

I have visited the valley hotel on a few occasions now and feel very comfortable with the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff whenever I visit. The new dining room was a lovely surprise on my last visit with its table service. The food was fab, the waitress service was professional yet very friendly. A lovely affordable fine dining restaurant.

We stayed in The Valley on return from Ireland 8/9th June 2014, we warned the hotel that the boat from Ireland didn't dock until midnight so it would be late when we arrived, the staff couldn't do enough gave me the information I needed to access the hotel before I left UK, the key and information was on the desk waiting for us, although we didn't see that much of the hotel the room (4) was very clean the shower to die for, we met some of the staff the next morning who were very friendly, the hearty breakfast was excellent. This hotel is a gem it is located in a quiet area within a few miles of the Ferry Terminal also would be a good base for visiting the area.

Room Tip: Room 4 is in a quiet location a good sized room with a very comfy bed, I slept like a rock.

We stayed at the Valley Hotel just for one night on our way to Ireland in room 3, nice room, comfy bed and nice and clean. the hotel has a nice bar area serving good bar food until 9pm. it has a restaurant and a beer garden. also has private parking and easy to find just off the motorway. the staff are lovely. All very helpful and friendly. the food and drinks are very reasonably priced we are used to paying much more for a meal and a drink. if you have children there is a good play area in the beer garden, there is also a child's menu available in the bar and restaurant. This hotel seems to have everything you need for a short stay.

Room Tip: There is no lift in this hotel but there are a few rooms one flight up which wasn't too bad for...

A great hotel to stay and explore the " magic of anglesey", north, south, east or west! Every venture from this hotel, ( only 3 miles drive to Trearddur Bay, a fantastic beach.)
The hotel very clean and all staff ,friendly and accommodating to the requests of their clients and day visitors. Good food & menu choice to suit all tastes.( the lamb shank & curry to be recommended)
Small local shopping area, railway station and nature park near by, a great place to be and see!!!!!
Jane & Dave Warrington, Cheshire

Room Tip: We stayed in room 5, good space and very clean en suite with the option of bath /shower.
