We really enjoyed our stay at Shorecliffe
The key point would be the Bungalow is in a perfect position, about a 10 minute walk down to the beach, we found this no problem as the inclines were quite mild and it was a pleasant walk downhill and over the crossing to the beach. We never needed to take the car to be beach all week. We stayed with to relatives in their 70’s and they found the walk to be fine. The property is also only 5 minutes from major supermarkets.
The main plus point of the property for us was the large flat garden, this proved perfect for cricket and football, and even sitting on sun loungers and resting !
The facilities were good, the wi-fi was problematic, but I managed to bump into the owner and it turned out to be a problem with the internet provider and he was very helpful and friendly and couldn’t have done more, by the end of the week it started to work.
I think that the bungalow was a bargain, especially during the school holidays.
Any criticisms would be minor and did not detract from our enjoying the stay; the cleaning could have been better on our arrival, there were hairs all over chair in the bedroom (I think the previous occupants had brought a dog!), this did not give us a great first impression and then oven could have been cleaner, the windows were also thick with sand and grime – but this is probably just a seaside problem?. If the extra bits of cleaning had been undertaken it would have been a perfect stay.
