“still good food and good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

popped in tonight after oystercatcher and marram grass restaurants both fully booked. A good choice as we got served quickly and the food was excellent again. Definitely try this place as its well worth it and decent value too.

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

Great food and great service. The food was really tasty but beware the Jungle Pad thai - it is very very hot ! My party all enjoyed their food - would go again no problem.

“Unexpected pleasure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

We entered this pub for an English dinner so we were very surprised to find it was a Thai! Big problem, big sulks, particularly from my 11 year old. Anyway after a bit of menu surfing we found him something that we thought he might like and I have to say we were all very pleasantly surprised.
The quality of the food was fab, the service was lovely and the prices reasonable.
It wasn't busy as we were out of season but I believe from the local folk it's Beemer really busy over the summer.
They also do a takeaway, and that side of things was very busy
All in all I'd recommend this place and will definitely return.

“Not what you expect from Tai”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

Starters, chicken satay was good, fishcakes were like rubber. Sent them back. The red and green curries taste the same and chillies overpowered the flavour. Asked for Saffron rice and got sticky, the Welsh maid was good but the Thai's not.

“Not the best Thai I have ever had”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

We ordered a takeaway for our party of 4 rather than eating in. Little bit disappointed really, sauces to the mains were very watery and there were very few vegetables with the curries. Starters of thai fishes cakes were good however. Quite expensive.
