We visited on a KGB deal. We're disabled, so asked for a ground floor twin-bedded room, which is what was provided. The room was very nice, and a reasonable size. The bathroom (toilet and shower only) was also a reasonable size, though the sink did suffer slightly from a cold tap that was difficult to turn off! The room was clean, and tea, coffee, and biscuits were provided, as was a TV, hairdryer, and two extra pillows. There were also two spare sockets on the wall opposite the beds, above the usual desk space. There was one chair and one stool.
We were due to have dinner there on the first night, but at check-in in the bar there was a notice saying that the restaurant was having new fans fitted and the restaurant wouldn't be open that night. Not a problem, though, as they provided the meal on the second night. Breakfasts weren't affected. We were directed to Llangefni a couple of miles down the road for that first evening meal, where a chippy and a kebab & pizza take-away were open.
The beds are rather difficult to summarize, in that I found mine very uncomfortable but my wife said hers was fine. Perhaps it was just a matter of getting used to the different mattress types for me.
The cooked breakfasts came as standard without a choice. There was plenty of food on the plate, and it was very good. The evening meal was perhaps slightly overcooked, but again there was a lot of it. My wife had a prawn cocktail as a starter, and there was enough for four! The mains were also large enough for both of us to leave some, and then we had a banana split each. We ended up replete (aka "stuffed")!
Everyone was both helpful and pleasant. A lot of the locals (perhaps even all) were Welsh-speaking, but very friendly and more than happy to speak with us. We certainly started an interesting discussion when we asked one of them what the name of the pub meant in English!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely be happy to stay here again.

thank you for your kind review and I am glad you enjoyed engaging with some of our locals. As I am from England and speak only a limited amount of Welsh I too had to ask them what the name meant in English. We look forward to welcoming you back soon
