“Best Chip Shop on the Island !!!!!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

Really good Fish & Chips all freshly cooked to order, so when its served to you its Hot and fresh ... only trouble is you have to wait a few minutes for them to cool down before you can eat them.... We have eaten in the Cafe seated area as well and thats always friendly and welcoming .....

“Worth the wait !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

Very busy on most days but deffo worth the wait - Personally I'd rather wait in line for fresh cooked Fish & Chips than be served quickly with old warm food.If you want quick go to McDonalds !!!

“Fabulousfish and chips but be prepared to wait!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2012

Great food and friendly service but massive queues meant about 45 minutes wait but food was worth waiting for. Unfortunately had sold out of pies and peas but fish and chips was excellent!

“Poor and Disorganised”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2011

I am sorry but when I go for Fish and Chips I do not expect to wait in a queue of 3 for 20 minutes to be served and then wait again while the assistant hands my food to the till assistant who then asks the first assistant what I have had and then takes 5 minutes adding it up on her till. The place serves good food but must lose many customers because of the disorganised way they go about their business. Sorry, won't be back!

“Delicious fish & chips”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2011

This establishment is well worth a visit and the wait! yes you do wait quite a long time firstly due to the queues that stretch to outside the property and beyond and secondly because each portion is cooked to order.

We opted for fish and chips to take out although there is a comprehensive chip shop menu on offer. They came served in traditional wrapping however the chips are served in a bag with the fish laid on top and wrapped so they are very easy to eat without having to fully open the wrapping, this was the easiest, least fiddly fish and chips we've ever had and they tasted delicious! Well worth the wait.

Downside, this place closed at 8:30 pm, originally we planned to eat at 9 on the Friday evening but unawares of the opening times missed it and went back at lunch time Saturday.
