“Short Midweek Break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

My wife and I were very pleased to stay at Woodlands.
The room was pleasant and spotless.Bed was very comfortable.
The owner was pleasant and the breakfasts excellent.
We will return in the future.
The property is easy to find on the main road but would advise the use of the slip road
infront of the guest house as it is safer. Traffic is very fast coming over a small hill just
before the entrance. 40 limit onthis road seems to be ignored but beware hidden speed guns.

We have just had a 2 night stay and thought Woodlands was a lovely place to stay. The room was lovely and clean with nice furniture, the bathroom looked as though it had been freshly decorated the shower was little on the cool side though and could not be turned up any hotter.
Breakfast was lovely and a lot better than I expected, highly recommend the pancakes, yum!
The honesty bar is a nice touch even though we did not get chance to use it.

Welcoming service, lovely modern room with everything we could possibly need, stunning scenery nearby including the beautiful Red Wharf Bay. Really tasty breakfast. We had a great time staying here and would recommend it to others.

We stayed at Woodlands guest house for 3 nights, a family group ranging from age 19 to 78. The rooms were clean, comfortable and all had ensuite facilities. The breakfast was very tasty, there was a buffet, plus you ordered your hot food the evening before. There was some noise from the road, but it went reasonably quiet overnight. Sam recommended some excellent local restaurants and we especially enjoyed using the lounge area with the honesty bar on our return after dinner.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quieter, but rooms at the front have sea view.

We stayed in room one as a twin for one night, it was lovely, comfy clean beds, big clean room. The owner was friendly and gave us advice of where to visit. TheThe breakfast was great too served in a light conservatory with options of what to have including a full english. We would definitely stay here if we came to Angelsey again.

We stayed for 1 night only on a bike tour of the island and it was a wlecome sight at the end of a long ride! The room was beautifully comfortable and clean, the recommendations given for dinner were excellent and our bikes were securely locked away. Breakfast was delicious and well organised, everyone we had contact with was pleasant and helpful. The road was a busy one and may be a problem for some, but it didn't prevent us from sleeping! Would use again and recommend.
