On Thursday evening the 26th May, my husband and I went for a meal. Impressed by the neatness and cleanliness of the bar also the comfort. Spoke to the chef about the menu, who was friendly and helpful. My starter was a three mushroom dish of which I got three small mushrooms and not much else. Husbands bowl of soup was excellent.
Our main courses of luxury fish pie was a disaster. The sauce was very thin like milky water and the potatoe topping just fell into it and dissolved to some extent. Plenty of fish but so spoilt. We did complain but was still charged the full amount, so £20 for our courses was a rip-off. We visit Amlwch but won't go there again.
