We found this b&b a little gem ,we were greeted on arrival by a friendly face and were allowed to drop our bag off earlier before check in.The whole place was so inviting nice and bright and clutter free. The room was very nice and comfortable it was spotless and the bathroom was gleaming. The information folder in the room was put together very well ,everything you needed to know about the surrounding areas ,eating out etc.The hospitality tray was lovely and last but not least the breakfast was fabulous, we had a cooked one but there was cereal and fresh fruit also. the breakfast was very tasty and nothing seemed to much trouble,we will return again plus its two minutes from a lovely Italian called Tony's.

Myself, my 13 year old son and my Mom had a wonderful four night stay at Talybont Bed and Breakfast. We had a warm welcome from Eileen and David who are lovely people and we felt at home from the moment we walked in.We had the family room which was very spacious and had a double bed and two single beds plus plenty of space for all our things. The room was spotless and was cleaned every day during our stay. The bathroom was also spotless with a lovely shower. There is a tea and coffee making tray in the room with a nice selection of biscuits if you feel a bit peckish. On the landing is a fridge for guests use which was handy for keeping drinks cool.
The breakfast was delicious and sets you up for the day. Lovely fruit and cereals each morning followed by a full breakfast which you choose the night before. The homemade bread makes wonderful toast and there are fruit juices and tea and coffee, as much as you want.
The B & B is in a lovely location with the river running at the bottom of the garden. You approach it from the coast road down a gravel driveway so it is very secluded with a safe car park. Barmouth and Harlech are a short drive away. There are a couple of caravan parks just down the road with facilities which can be used by non residents. There are places to eat, a shop and arcades which was great for my son in the evening. There are also entertainment venues if you want to make a night of it! If you carry on down to the end of the road you come to Talybont beach which is a lovely stretch of sand and we had some lovely evening walks and watched the sunsets.
For evening meal there is the local inn across the road which serves nice meals and also an Italian restaurant which also does take away pizzas every night. There is also a village store across the road which is useful.
I would highly recommend a visit to Talybont B & B, we had a fantastic time and will definately be going back!

David and Eileen are very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about the surrounding area. The breakfast was very substantial and set us up for the day, until we had our evening meal. The garden was beautifullu maintaned and secure. We will be staying here again.

We were spending a few days looking for caravan in this area in mid March, and booked in late afternoon and had lovely 2 night stay. Room was spotlessly clean with en suite and roomy enough to spend time in in the evening. The breakfast set you up for the day without being too heavy, quality ingredients with plenty of choice set us up for the day.The location is super with stream running along the garden. Car park safe and secluded.Owners helpful to make your stay good creating a lovely unobtrusive atmosphere.
Recommended highly.

Eileen and David welcomed us to their B & B for 3 nights, providing a spotlessly clean home, and a delightful double room with En-suite. Everything in the room was caterered for extremely well, and the bathroom was very clean with a good shower and bath. Breakfast menu was imaginative, hot, well cooked and delicious. All ingredients we understand were locally sourced (where possible) and it certainly tasted good. The fresh coffee and home made bread the added bonus.
