“Dog friendly, alltogether very friendly pub.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

We've been here a few times and each time has been great. You are always made to feel welcome and the food is great. If your on holiday with your dog it's hard to find anywhere to take them in, but this pub is dog friendly (There's a snack for any that come in).

The food has been lovely and at a great price too, we've never been dissapointed. All though to be fair i've never tried anything in the dessert range apart from the delicous icecreams.

Beware this is no city pub, this is a lovely Welsh country pub with roaring fires, beamed ceilings and lots of friendly locals, you might find yourself having to talk to them.

We visited the Bryntiron for Sunday lunch, we have recently joined the motorhome stopover group and wanted to see what to expect.
Linda the landlady had a wealth of useful information and made us feel most welcome.
The lunch was superb all freshly prepared food and very reasonably priced.
We can't wait to go back.

After a very long trip in out campervan from the soggy British GP at Silverstone, finding the Bryntirion Inn was a godsend. We'd heard about it on a motorhome forum, and it was a great start to our holiday in N Wales/Snowdonia. Tom, the barman was a wealth of local information and really went out of his way with excellent recommendations - from the local real ales to must-see places - even recommending a local artisan cider producer. Food and drink was excellent and good value for money. A real little gem in a magical location.

The ideal pub/b&b for cat lovers, (apparently ten in residence with a row of food bowls and open tins outside the letting bedroom door, plus a cat playstation located in a corner of the landing), if not stay well clear - breakfast more 'greasy spoon' standard + cat in attendance

We have just moved to Llandderfel and heard great things about the Bryn. So after a couple of weeks we decided to go for sunday lunch.

We had chicken and beef for 6.95 and sat next to the lovely warm fire. It was amazing and we ate every bit of it. My partner had the apple and blackberry crumble and I had sticky toffee and they were amazing too.

This pub is dog friendly, we would love to bring our dog but we know he would go everywhere and not sit down.

So expect to see dogs, get great service, be cosy and warm, eat great food and llandderfel is beautiful.

Of course we will be back because its just up the road:-D

We stopped at this pub for Sunday lunch. We found it on a dog friendly website as well and it sounded lovely.

we were greeted on arrival in the pub my the landlord asking if our greyhound was allowed a chewy treat! Which of course he was! We were shown a table near the fire (not going as it was a warm day) but there was more room for our dog to lie down!

We both ordered a Sunday lunch, I had lamb and my husband had beef. The meat for both meals was absolutely beautiful! melt in the mouth. Roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, mashed carrot, cabbage and cauliflower all served piping hot. And at £6.95 each, it was excellent value. We certainly ate every bit of it! It was the kind of pub where Im sure if we had asked for a bit of bread to mop up the gravy, they would have got us some!

We also found room for some pudding, a little expensive but on a par with other places and I think its the same now wherever you go. I had delicious licorice and blackcurrent ice cream and my husband had apple and blackberry crumble and custard.

If we were ever around the area we would be calling in for our dinner!

We held our post marriage blessing party here. Most of it was arranged at a distance. Linda was so very helpful. On the day we had a great time. The buffet was delicious. Everyone commented on how good it was. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We went back the following day having booked lunch for 20 at very short notice. Once again service and food was great and good value.
