My brother had given a voucher for a nights stay and dinner for my birthday.I had never heard of Tyddyn Llan, though I live in North Wales not too far away. Why are people keeping this a secret ?
We had a warm welcome, super room with even its own CD collection!
Attentive service in the dining room and super food, fine wine,in a setting where you feel you are doing something a bit special. The breakfast too was out of this world.
If I have one regret,is that we went in winter time.I would have loved to have finished my meal with a sit outside and a large brandy in the fabulous grounds,or to have spent an afternoon with tea and scones reading a good book. Will make sure next time.Love Brian's book too,not only signed but with authentic cooking residue as he was working when he signed it - brilliant !
See you soon again Tyddyn Llan, when the sun is shining.
