Recently we returned from our forth stay in the studio at Morfa Neydd. As on previous short breaks everything was perfect. The facilities and the layout ideal for a couple wanting to be self sufficient and comfortable looking after themselves. This along with Jean and Marks hospitality makes it an ideal location to stay for touring this part of Wales. We both feel like being at home and are sure other visitors would feel the same.

Just returned home from a fantastic 4 night stay in the studio at Morfa Newydd. What a wonderful place to stay, Jean was very helpful and welcoming, the studio was spotless and the bed was the comfiest we had ever slept on. We would definitely recommend Morfa Newydd to our friends and anyone else for that matter !! Look forward to holidaying in this wonderful corner of Wales again in the near future.

This beautiful B&B with a wonderful hostess, Jean, made our weekend. The highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene are met, with perfect white sheets and fluffy towels second to none.

The little alcove containing a table and chairs set in the dressing room was a lovely place to sit and watch the golfers. All your requirements are catered for tea, coffee, biscuits and even a fridge in the room.

Set a short walk from the beach on Beach Road and within walking distance of Harlech Castle, shops and restaurants it is in a perfect location.

The excellent breakfast which ranges from fresh fruit salad to full English will set you up for the day.

Within the grounds of the B&B there is also a brand new self contained studio/cottage which is perfectly appointed and contains everything you require for your holiday.

I cant praise Jean more highly, she makes you feel like family and will certainly be visiting her again.... very soon.

Thanks Jean for a great weekend, see you soon. Pam and Stan, Harborne, Birmingham

Room Tip: All rooms are wonderfully appointed

I stayed at Morfa Newydd for three nights with friends. It is by the side of a very quiet road leading to the dunes and beach and opposite the golf course with views of Harlech Castle. Jean is a delightful hostess and made us very welcome. The bedrooms are bright and fresh with everything you need. The breakfasts are wonderful and varied. I would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.

Room Tip: The double room has its own small sitting room off the bedroom

I stayed here at the end of the school summer holidays with my 2 young children and my parents (both in their 70s). I am not very often lost for words..... but i am struggling to find the right words to express how i feel about this place. From the first time i spoke to Jean over the phone, i could tell that she was a lovely, kind person- she was very helpful and very supportive (this was my first holiday on my own with the children as my marriage broke up earlier in the year.) Every time i phoned her to check something she was very reassuring and helpful and when we arrived and met Jean and Mark, I felt as if I knew them already.
The studio/cottage was lovely- we were the first family to stay there and it was very clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable- there were some lovely extras- like beach towels, complimentary toiletries and the makings of tea and coffee with biscuits for us when we arrived.
The house was wonderful- the room where my parents stayed was perfect- the decor was beautiful and the balcony area was lovely for them to sit and admire the views after a busy day out. The lounge and dining area was very impressive- Jean has a wonderful skill in making everywhere homely- the place is immaculate and very tastefully furnished and decorated.
The garden was great, with plenty of room for the children to run around and one afternoon we all spent a lovely few hours relaxing there- Jean had provided a table, chairs and a parasol so we enjoyed eating our dinner outside that day.
Jean and Mark were perfect hosts- nothing was too much trouble- we loved them, they are so kind and so helpful- my children- 7 and 10 adored them and were already planning our return visit!
The breakfast was amazing- eveything was of very high quality- my parents were blown away by the cooked breakfast- locally sourced bacon and sausages were fatastic. Fresh fruit salad and yogurts every day and treats for the kids- chocolate muffins were very well received by my two chocolate monsters!!
The location is great- on the beach road- about a 10 minute walk down to the most amazing beach that i have ever seen- miles of beautiful sand, backed by sand dunes, which the kids love to play in. It is a steep walk up to the town but the local bus is fairly regular and will drop you up into the centre- the railway station is very close aswell- so it is a holiday that can be taken without a car.
So, although i started this review lost for words- when i got going it started to flow...! In a nutshell, this is a fantastic place to stay, in a stunning location, with all the home comforts that you could ask for hosted by two of the kindest, genuinely lovely people that you could hope to meet. Thank you Jean and Mark- we love Morffa Newydd and we love you guys. x x x

We stayed at Morfa Newydd for four nights in July and did not want to leave. The bedroom was beautiful: clean and bright with the biggest and comfiest bed ever! The room was very well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and DVD player (in case of rain!) with a selection of DVDs to choose from downstairs. The adjoining bathroom was also very clean with all towels and toiletries provided. Jean, our host, was really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. The breakfast was excellent with fruit, cereals, yoghurt and juice followed by either a cooked or continental breakfast and plenty of toast, coffee and tea! We also had the use of the magnificently furnished living room, which we didn't need as the weather was so good, but it was nice to know we had the option to return "home" if the weather was bad. It is a stone's throw from the beach and a pleasant (if steep!) walk from the town. Morfa Newydd really was a home from home and we will definitely go back! Thank you Jean!
