The Bay View coffee shop is almost always busy so often the biggest problem you'll have is finding a spare seat. The menu is pretty much traditional UK cafe food but they do offer hefty portions for very reasonable prices. The cooked breakfast in partcular is very filling. It comprises bacon, sausage, a choice of scrambled or fried egg, tomato or beans along with two rounds of the thickest buttered toast I've seen in a long time. The rounds of toast are proper doorstops and a meal in themselves. I've got a healthy appetite but one of these brekkies will keep me going for the day. And at £3.65 it's very reasonably priced too. It's definitely worth a try, assuming you can find somewhere to sit.
