“5 star service in a beautiful setting!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

Outstanding B & B close to the sea and a few minutes drive from the beautiful main town of Aberaeron. The room was a great size with plenty of room for a camp bed. Very accomodating for children, the host Mark and his staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was a memorable happy one. The summer house is a great idea, lots of fun playing pool and darts! Very highly recommended, we would definitely return.

There really is not much to say: very friendly people, beautiful area, great breakfast, nice rooms. The Ty Gwyn certainly was one of the highlights on our trip through the UK and if I ever get a chance I will definitely return. Highly recommended.

An outstanding B&B - beautifully clean, comfy and welcoming. Located close to the sea and within walking distance of the centre of Aberaeron. Host Mark is a delight, full of local knowledge and very obliging. Delicious Welsh breakfast. Coastal walk just yards from the front door. Highly recommended.

Ty Gwyn is the best Break & Breakfast we have stayed in. Very clean, friendly, comfortable and all you could hope for - from home to home! The breakfast was terrific and well presented. Ty Gwyn is in a great location and our room had a good view of the sea which was metres away. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark to help and guide you to a wonderful break. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Thank you very much Mark and look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Keep up the good work!

As soon as we arrived,we received a warm welcome from the host, Mark who led us to our sea view room. The standards at Ty Gwyn are impeccable, the beautifully presented Welsh breakfast, the cleanliness throughout, the decor in the rooms and of course Mark's outstanding hospitality. The guesthouse is in a lovely spot within easy reach of the picturesque town of Aberaeron, Mark was full of local knowledge which allowed us to visit attractions we may not have found, we will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Room 1, lovely views, comfy bed and fab shower

My wife and I stayed at Ty Gwyn for two nights over a weekend recently as a last minute decision to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we could not have chosen better. Ty Gwyn is in a great location. Our room had a super view as it was literally metres from the sea, which is a sprawling expanse of unspoilt, deserted coastline. Aberaeron itself is a lovely place with some really nice, upmarket places to eat and drink and great, friendly locals frequenting them.

Now on to the highlight of our stay; our host. Mark is one of the most amiable and welcoming people I have met, and could not do enough for you, so much so that we actually spent a majority of the second evening in his company. We can honestly say that we arrived as guests and left as friends. We can not recommend this place enough. Top drawer!
