After walking for several miles in the hills above, the Royal Oak was my lunch break destination, 29 July 2012, 13:00 hrs.
Accepted host's suggestion of Sunday Lamb Roast.
Sorry to say it was not the best, I expected fresh cooked Sunday Roast, oops.
I received twice cooked roast potato, ( oven then later perhaps mico-wave ? ) with carbonized , chewy edges, inside soggy with fat.
Some purple-ish gellified strips may once have been red cabbage, not sure on that one.
Peas ( very small ) in a green gloop.
The so called Yorkshire pud, was quite rubbery and without any crispness.
Sorry Royal Oak this is just not good enough. Ate just over half and walked.
