Stayed one night. Owners very friendly and informative. Nice common area that we could use to play cards - party of 6. It is a little tricky to find. Once you find, the owners will direct you to the alley where they open gate for parking area. Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was great.

We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst touring Wales, what a find, beautiful house, fabulous breakfasts ( i have had to put the old man on a diet!) very welcoming and safe parking for the car. Thankyou so much.

My friends, daughter and I stayed in 2 rooms for a night the week of the Royal Welsh show. We arrived tired and dusty and were welcomed and helped by Jill and Michael. Our room was lovely, top floor of the house in the eaves......beams and sloping ceilings. The whole place was pointlessly clean. Everything you could wish for was provided - plentiful supplies of tea etc and little flapjacks in storage jar . We went out to eat at a local pub /hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. A good night's sleep was followed by a super breakfast of home produced produce or other locally sourced food. The bacon in particular was excellent. Top marks.
There isn't a lift here but for an older property the stairs are surprisingly wide. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we had been staying longer. Hospitality was excellent and a house filled with character and charm. Helpful hosts who know what they are doing.

We arrived on Friday afternoon, having almost cancelled through ill health on my part. I slept for most of the next 24 hours, though this did not stop me from having a magnificent breakfast on Saturday morning on a tray in our room. The room was at the back of the house and I found that I could sleep without interruption from any noise. The bed and linen were marvellous, very much appreciated by a man with one of the world's worst backs.
Sunday morning I woke fully refreshed and discovered what I had missed the first morning, a superb full Welsh breakfast. Sausage and bacon to die for! Home made preserves and local honey on whole meal toast. That set me up for the day and I only managed a shared Welsh Artisan board at the Castle Inn that evening. (Highly recommended by us).
I have been home now for just over an hour and will be looking in my diary to find time for another long weekend (or longer) to visit again.
What's not to like? The inevitable end to a wondrous stay.
Jill and Mick, thank you once again!

We stayed at the Drovers for one night in June 2013. We had a very warm welcome by Mike and Jill with coffee and homemade cookies and dog treats for our Jack Russell. The house is about 200 years old and Jill and Mike have done a great job - every room is very special. The food is produced locally and homemade. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

We spent two nights at the Drovers B&B. It was very comfortable and inviting. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, nicely appointed, and the bed was super comfortable with fine linens and a wool mattress topper. Jill's breakfast was delicious and she was a delightful host and advisor for activities in the area. We had intended to visit a number of small towns and attractions in the area but the narrow and winding roads made every trip take longer than we expected. Llandovery, itself, is pretty small and has only one good restaurant. The few shops there have short opening hours and several were closed on the days we were there. I am not sure that we picked the right town in which to stay, but if you are going to that area, you certainly would not make a mistake by staying at The Drover's.

Thank you for your comments ,which are really appreciated it's nice to know that we do it well,

We are currently painting the outside of the house, it's like painting the Forth bridge---it never stops.
