We arrived in Memphis with not too much hope for a tasty wello cooked meal but a little ferretting managed to turn up Spindini's. We had walked past and discounted various restaurants mainly because they were empty and had no ambience, none at all. When we arrived at Spindini's it was full to overflowing with people waiting for tables, so two of us went into the restaurant to ask how long it would be before a table was free. We were told 45 minutes, but in fact it was much less than that. We had the best Italian meal served outside Italy (and we go there a lot)! The atmosphere was tremendous and the food delectable. I wish they hadn't cleared away my slice of Olive Bread when they cleared to table, I was so enjoying it.
