While visiting Downtown Memphis on May 28th,we had lunch at the kooky and had the pleasure to be served by Sarah Beth, what a lovely girl, she took the time with us to explain and give us her recommendations, she was friendly, polite and you could get the feeling she likes what she does. service and food was great! Good luck with your studies Sarah Beth you will for sure succeed.

“Smores makes us all Smile”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Service was good but our large group was clearly a problem for Kooky Canuck and the steak, the chicken and the cat fish were all dry from being kept warm. More than one of our group wished they had tried a burger which looked appertising. This is the only eatery I have ever been served smores with a burner on the table to toast the marshmallow with Grahams crackers and Hershey chocolate. My tip is order smores, its pure fun.

“Holy Smoke!”

i had the "Holy Smoke" burger. It is topped with fried Jalepenos. It was quite good, and not uncomfortably firey.

“Fantastic Peach Cobbler”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Try the 4lb burger, if you dare, but the peach cobbler in an iron skillet is outstanding. Great service as well, and we tested their patients.

“Excellent!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

Was there three times over the month, and never disappointed!!! The Bacon & Bleu burger may be the best, the sweet potato fries are great, and you can get a chicken sandwich, salad...or whatever!!! Try the 4-pound burger with 4 friends...you won't get it for free but it's an even better buy at $24.95...most burgers are in the $7-9 range, and the beer...domestic draft schooner are $4.99...but wait...it's a 36oz beer!!!!!
