“history in the making”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012 via mobile

it really brought home to me that history is being made all around us. with the invention of computers and how they changed the way we do business. the history of cotton and how it supported a large part of the south. good tour for just walking by. priced alittle high.

“Great source of history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

They will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about cotton and how it shaped the South over the past 200 years. Nice exhibits, well laid out, friendly staff and lots of history. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours here.

“Very educational”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2012

My husband and I visited the Cotton Exchange, thinking we might be a little bored, but boy were we wrong. There was so much more in this museum than just the history of cotton. I liked the old movies of real cotton farmers and sharecroppers. It was also interesting to learn the history of Memphis and how the cotton industry contributed to the blues music. We really enjoyed the visit.

“Great piece of history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2012

This is an excellent museum. The videos are very interesting and entertaining with lots of information. There are many more audios throughout the museum to listen to that could take hours to take in. The room itself is very impressive and takes you back into history. The display is amazing! There are lots of interactive things available for the young ones and that makes it super educational for them. Lots can be learned with all the hands on things. This is another don't miss attraction in Memphis!
