“Good 1/2 day venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2012

The Pink Palace is a unique place to visit. The Clyde Park Circus is an absolute "must see" exhibit. A duplicate of the original Clarence Sanders "Piggly Wiggly" supermarket (which started right here in Memphis) is an interesting exhibit. There are stuffed African animals (sometimes not open),a great dinosaur exhibit and an IMAX theater (extra charge). The fee for everything is $19.50. It is a great 1/2 day visit.

“Fun, interesting and different”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2012 via mobile

Went for about 4 hours to this museum and there was no crowd. Lots of reading and exhibits on animals, gems, and history. The place is very large and has a lot of reading. Great for adults, not so sure about little children. They had several things for children such as IMAX and the enchanted forest so that area was very full. Place was much larger than I expected.

“Built by Piggly-Wiggly Exec.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2011

Wow, this was a nice surprise on our visit to Memphis. The old house is gorgeous. The museum lay out inside is extremely well done. Don't miss the 1920's piggly-wiggly self-serve grocery store in the second floor museum area. You will like this visit.
