“Great Vibe, Good Fresh Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Took the Medical Center Trolley from Main St. with wife & 2 little Grandkids even though we could have driven more quickly because I wanted to experience the complete image. I had heard that the Madison Trollies could be off schedule & a little sporatic, but we waited only five minutes going for the ten minute trip and five minutes waiting for the return. The short ride was great fun for the kids' first trolley ride and definitely added to the experience. Upon entering the front door, I was struck by the energetic atmosphere which included the right music mix for talking and eating without being either sleepy or loud & overdone. The crowd was a combination of locals, tourists, and maybe some Blues Challenge people and everyone was comfortable with the surroundings. We ordered pizzas because I had heard they were good and we weren't dissappointed. The kids come from an all Vegan family, so that's what they got. My wife and I had a "small" Cheeze with Italian Sausage, Peppers and Canadian Bacon, however this small pizza couldn't be finished by the two of us. As others have stated these things are hand crafted with very good, fresh ingrediants, and they don't rush the process for anyone, so know there might be a reasonably long wait. If you have more than a 30 minute lunch break, you're probably O.K. Hopefully more cool spots will open around this location on Madison, but The Trolley Stop Market is worth the visit by itself.

“Unless you have two hours for lunch...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

It took over an hour to get our food; waitress did not advise us it would take so long or else we would have left. At lunchtime they were also out of some items like MAC and Cheese!! Apparently they make one pizza at a time and they were out of some toppings. The ONLY redeeming factor was the owner comped our entire bill and was very apologetic. She definitely has to change the way the restaurant is run. We ate the food so fast it was hard to tell the quality. However the pizza was nothing special.

“Will ride for food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

I love the relaxed vibe of this restaurant. Not too pricey. Perfect place to make a stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner when touring or working downtown. Kid friendly. Great food made from scratch. I recommend the pizza. Save room for dessert. Love the mix of picnic tables and regular tables. You can even pick up a handcrafted souvenir or food items while you are there. There is even an area sectioned off for larger groups that would be perfect for an office party luncheon or small reunion.

“Great mix of shopping and eating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

I was expecting a market with a few tables in the back, and was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with shopping all around the perimeter. Even better, there are display after display of local products - from meat to honey to spices...

The food was good. I had a plate lunch, and took a slice of pizza home for dinner. The portions are enough to fill you up without stuffing you. And the prices are reasonable. Service was good, though a bit slow once the place filled up.

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

This place features locally sourced food, from the veggies to the meats. Some of the best pizza in Memphis. We have tried some of their sandwiches and found them to be very good as well. Beer selection is decent. Staff is very helpful, but the service at times can be a bit sporadic. This has become one of our favorite Memphis restaurants.
