I was the coordinator for my ship reunion association. The hotel staff, from the coordinator, Peggy Oman, Beat' the hospitality host, and Jon Crisp, the General Manager, there are no finer people to work with. Peggy took care of all the details, Beat' made sure we had everything we needed in the hospitatlity room, and Jon Crisp gave a very special welcome on our first night. I had a suite and it was comfortable, well furnished, and had outstanding maid service. The beds were very plush and clean. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

Bed had stains on mattress pad that was visible on the side. Not sure why it wasn't changed before I arrived if I could clearly see it then housekeeping did, too. Bathroom door had the same stains as the mattress and so did the shower. Now what could that have been? Blood? Otherwise the room was just fine as always. Holiday inn is usually great. Lobby floor was being cleaned at checkout with a big machine that had puddles of water everywhere. Had to fight my luggage over the machines cords and dodge puddles while wearing flip flops. I was p!$$3d while checking out. Just ridiculous!

This week I presented 3 seminars in 3 different cities in 3 different Holiday Inns. The one in Memphis out classed the other 2 by miles. I did not need to "find people" to get things done. The service was excellent, the food fantastic and the people fabulous. They seemed to know when something was needed before I did. The sleeping rooms were great. If I ever need to be in Memphis again I would certainly stay here for business or pleasure. I honestly have to say that in the 8 years I have been doing this they would be ranked number one. I didn't know customer service of this caliber was still available. Thanks to Tiffany & Peggy. GOOD JOB!!!

we stayed on a friday night - went to check in and the young lady was busy with what appeared to be a personal phone call, because she was laughing and smiling. She quickly went thru the check-in process and appeared to be annoyed when I asked her a question . When I walked away, she went back to her phone call and went back to laughing and smiling. We went to get dinner and do some shopping. When we got back, watched some TV then tried to go to sleep. The refrigerator was making the loudest noises and there was banging noises which happened too often. I am a light sleeper and had the worst night of sleep in years. When I was telling the clerk of the noise, she rudely told me that they do not try to bribe their customers into coming back by offering any special compensation. "hello"??? I did not ask for compensation, I was just telling her about the refrigerator. She was again, abrupt and rude. If this is the customer service you give at your hotels, this vacationer will find accommodations elsewhere.
