We visited Peabody Hotel twice for the same two reasons on both visits. To visit Lanskys who clothed Elvis and many other rock stars since. The other reason was to see the world renowned spectacle called the March of the Peabody Hotel Ducks. This is an event that happens twice a day in the hotel. 5 ducks have their own suite on the roof of the hotel. At 1100 every day these Duck make their way from the roof, down to an elevator from the 11th floor and then down to the ground floor where they walk a red carpet laid for their use up a couple of steps and into the Hotels massive centre piece marble fountain. All this under the supervision of the Hotels Duck Master complete with red uniform and marching stick. We attended the spectacle twice and whilst it was great for the kids who are allowed to sit along the edge of the ducks red carpet, it isn't really a massively interesting event and is short lived. It was well attended on both occasions that we saw it, but is very boring waiting for it to happen and remember its all over in two minutes so the hotel staff telling people off for moving chairs and the like really did seem a bit over the top. We also
Purchased a cup of tea whilst we were waiting and this was very expensive. So on the second occasion we took our own drinks
