“Stopped by to see the Ducks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2012

Loved the Duck procession, surprised at all the people staying at the Peabody were annoyed by the ducks, you would think that you understand upfront that the Ducks are #1 at the Peabody but I guess not... Went up to the Skyway to see the Ducks' digs and they sure have a rough life... It's definitely worth seeing once.

“See the ducks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2012

If you visit Memphis you have to visit the historic Peabody hotel for the marching of the ducks. The do it twice a day. Plan on getting there a half before so you can get a seat. They do not allow you to stand and block other guests view. They begin with a history of the hotel and ducks. It is really quite fun.

We were there for Easter Brunch--the food was amazing and the champagne was unlimited. It was a great morning!

“The ducks were great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2012

Get a seat early. We got to the ducks ~4:45 pm and the lobby was quite full. The kids snuck up front and got excllent seating. The history overview of the ducks was interesting and entertaining.

“Excellent location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2012

A traditional hotel in an excellent location only 2 blocks from Beale street. A very busy vibrant hotel. Rooms were of a good size but the bathrooms very small. I would recommend requesting a quiet room as the noise from the street and being close to Beale street can be disturbing.
The ducks are a star attraction and very cute.
We parked our car in the self park hotel parking but the walk to the hotel is a very long one so would advise drop off your luggage first or use valet park for convenience.

“Very Ducky”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2012

Went just to see the evening duck parade. It was entertaining and fun to see. Then went up to their "penthouse" to see the ducks at home. Great roof top views of Downtown Memphis, the ballpark and the FedEx Forum and the river and bridges from up there.
