I was moving to NY and made a detour just to see Graceland! I loved everything about it! I loved that you could go at your own pace, take as much time as you wanted and that you could take pictures!! Too bad you can't go upstairs though! But it was a beautiful sight and i plan i making another trip soon!!

We just recently went too "Graceland" as part of our family vacation this year i had always wanted too go i was brought up on "Elvis" my parents loved his music and raised my brother and i on his music my only wish was i would of been born when he was still alive.Anyway we traveled with our three children who range in age from eleven too three i was a lil worried they wouldn't enjoy it but it truely wound up being an experience our whole family was able too enjoy .Our children had a blast i wasn't sure if they would like it but they really enjoyed it they thought it was so cool too check out such an american icon too be standing there where the best man the "king"of all time had lived and all his lifetime achievments were as well as all the many cars,planes and suits he once owned and too be able too check out his unique style .Elvis was a phenominal person and if u really are an elvis fan this is one place u will want too visit just too stand there and take it all in too be somewhere that he once called home and i almost forgot too be able too stand in front of his grave and get as close as u possibly can too him.Believe me it is well worth it and u will deff have a lifetime experience so if u are an elvis fan pls go i promise it is worth it.

We live in Belgium. Visiting Graceland was my dream. It came true thanks to my husband who took me there for our 22nd wedding anniversary.
It was great to be where Elvis was ! This was really a great emotional experience for me.
I love Elvis since I am 5 years old, and I still love him more since I saw Graceland.
I have been happy to see how humble Graceland is, actually as humble as Elvis was.
I hope I go back to Memphis one day ...

We just returned from Elvis Week 2008. Spent l0 days in Memphis as we do each August. We took the tour this year (we usually do it each 5 years... 20th, 25th, 30th.. but didn't get too last year. They take your picture before you board your bus to the mansion. The driver on the way over didn't speak. As always I am in awe to be standing inside of Elvis' home. I took a lot of pictures (no flash, of course). We were not rushed in any way and often lingered in rooms to look longer I enjoyed seeing all the momentos and flowers sent to Graceland from all over the world that lined the drive up by the Meditation Garden. The drive back to the ticket center was fun, ans the driver had us singing and laughing! Picked up our Graceland picture and it turned out great. Nice keepsake of our visit. We checked out all the musuems and the airplanes our ticket included which are small but very informative and interesting. I highly recommend the tour if your an Elvis fan. We also did the vigil walking up the driveway with our lighted candles about 2:00 am on the morning of the 16th. This is the highlight of our trip. Its a beautiful and touching tribute to our king of rock and roll.
