It gave me chill bumps to walk through the house of the King, to actually walk where Elvis lived was amazing, the greatest place in the world, i will probally visit many many times more in my life it will never get old, the atmosphere just makes you feel welcome in his house and that was awesome, Long live the King. The house is beautiful, it is away from the big city of memphis so it is not hard to visit, easy to find (big mansion on hill) and if your an elvis fan you must go. Peace

What a voice and what a beautiful sole! When i have visited Graceland as friends and family talk about his past life and what he gave us as a whole i just start cring and can't believe i am standing in front of his beautiful house that he gave to his parents. I took my children to go visit last August and I have to say they thought it was a great vacation, many gifts were bought and the memories have been endless in our minds. I wanted to share that special moment with them for years. I cried when we stood in front of the Gates of Graceland and then in one breath, heard his strong and vibrant voice gleaming out of heaven, I know ELVIS could see his fans and he could hear all of our voices as we all sang..."if i could dream"Know matter what ever happens on the outside of his Memphis home and all the stores,media hype and all the costruction that is planning to go on, the only thing that they can't take away from his loyal fans is the loyalty of his love for music, Christ, and for his beautiful daughter Lisa Marie Presley!!!!

My husband and I were in Memphis for a convention and decided to take in Graceland. I'm not really an Elvis fan and I was not sure I'd get much out of a tour of his home, but I was wrong. I am so glad we went, and yes, I have a new appreciation for Elvis. Graceland is so interesting and a captivating slice of history . Despite a heat index of 111 degrees and a large crowd, all was enjoyable because the Graceland operation is like a well oiled machine. They know how to easily manage the numbers of people and shepherd them through in small groups. You feel like you are seeing Graceland with just a few folks. Small shuttle busses take you across the street and up the grand drive to the front door of Elvis' home. The audio tour is excellent with Elvis and Lisa Marie Presley's voices woven into the commentary. After your shuttle returns you to the commercial complex where you start, you can see an amazing display of Elvis' costumes and gold records and walk through the King's airplanes that are parked there. A well crafted display of his autos and motorcycles is a nice surprise too. Do purchase the tour plan that allows you to view the costumes , his car collection and the planes. It is only a few dollars more than the basic tour. It was a great time and I'd recommend it to everyone. The Elvis merchandise experience is lots of fun too even if you don't buy a thing.

We took a Summer Vacation to visit relatives in South Carolina but figured that instead of coming straight back to Ontario afterwards we'd do a circle and go visit Graceland. It made our trip like Three times as long as original but was well worth it. While at Graceland we took LOADS AN LOADS of Pictures, That we were really looking forward to sharing with friends! But somehow from all our Vac Pics we have everything but those taken at Memphis and Tupelo??? We totally cannot figure this out at all, It Really Sucks!!! Guess we'll just have to return for retakes Eh? Other then the lost Pic's Our trip thru 13 states was a Great Adventure and I can't wait to do it again! Our Favorite Motel on this trip was Day's Inn Best Value for Money and Clean Rooms. Red Roof Inn was Expensive and Charged extra for Wireless Net...
