we wanted to stay near the mississippi river and came across the comfort inn. although they did not have rooms available with a view of the mississippi, we settled into a ground floor executive suite.
wonderful suite. not only was it enormous but the bed was huge, comfortable, and stocked with both soft and firm pillows. the front desk mentioned that we were welcome to admire the view from the pool deck until 9pm. worth the trip up after a long day of travel.
although the room exceeded our expectations, we were awakened in the wee hours of the morning to grunts and a banging head board from a nearby room. with the quality of everything else, it was slightly disappointing that the walls were paper thin.
what a breakfast! my favorite, biscuits, gravy and eggs! a spread of items available to guests also included bacon, yogurts, fresh fruits, waffle maker, variety of donuts and juices, and many other items. evening and morning staff were also friendly. will bring earplugs next trip here.
