“Under renovation ”

The hotel is under renovation and not up to its usual. There are construction workers in and out. My room did not have a refrigerator and everyday I had to stop back down in the lobby to reset my key. Folks wee complaining but the front desk just reset without comment and never offered an explanation. You might want to call before you book to see if the construction has been finalized.

Thank you so much for commenting on your stay with us. I am sorry you experienced issues with your room keys not working. I am a little puzzled regarding your comments as our hotel is not under renovations.

The Embassy Suites Hotel which is located right next door to us is under full renovations. In addition, all of our standard rooms have mini refrigerator in them with our king suites having a full size refrigerator.

This Hampton was very clean, very friendly and helpful staff, and excellent breakfast. Room and entire hotel seemed very clean. Breakfast had everything from cereal and pastries to cut fresh fruit and hot items. Will definitely stay again when visiting Memphis.

During a road trip we stopped here. It was a little out of the way but we chose it based on the reviews. The front desk seemed annoyed even though it was not particularly late at night when we arrived. Our room was down a long hallway. After we got ready to turn in we realized the deadbolt on our room would not work. In fact, it was clear that it physically could not work because the bolt and strike plate were different sizes. Also, the latch on top had clearly been pushed - the screws were loose. We asked to change rooms. Instead of bringing us a key, or offering us help, we were told to all come back to the front desk. to change keys. So we all put our PJS back in the suitcase and trekked down there, and then went to another room. Instead of an apology we got attitude. The breakfast staff was also less than hospitable. Hopefully, they were just having a bad day, no one can be pleasant all the time. However a lock that by design/installation can not work is totally unacceptable.

Front desk services representative (Miram) was outstanding. Located in a corporate office park. Not very exciting location for walking around. Have to use the shuttle service or renatl car to get anywhere. Italian restaurant in the embassy suites next door which was very good.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Shuttle took us to mall and to restaurant and picked us up when we called. Very nice employees. Good breakfast and adequate fitness center. Overall experience was very satisfactory. Anything you needed, the staff tried to satisfy.

Found entire and overall experience a pleasure and easy--Room perfect, amenities great, service wonderful!!The bedding was so nice--i want to purchase the blanket cover--Breakfas was more than adequate--The staff could not have been more heloful as i an a single lady and need to feel secure when i am in a hotel traveling by myself

If you're like me, single, middle aged female, who wants a safe, well run, clean, accommodating hotel with great amenities and a wonderfully complete free breakfast (along with "to go" bags if you're on your way back to the airport), this is the place for you. The cost is comparable to other major city hotels but in my opinion the convenience and feeling of safety is worth it!
