“Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Breathtaking beautiful setting on the Loch, even the midges were not too bad! A welcome hamper was provided which was extremely thoughtful and appreciated as there are not too many shops close by. Everything there to light the log burning stove.Heat set to come on everyday.
We loved the decor and have noted who designed some of the cushions to see if we could purchase some too. We fought to get sitting on the lovely comfy leather settee, perhaps another soft chair would be needed as no one wanted the hard rocking chair. There are views of water out of every window ahh!The one disadvantage for light sleepers is the busy road, I was wakened well before seven with the noise, but my companions had no difficulty sleeping in until ten o'clock and beyond. That gave me the opportunity to go down to my private pier and appreciate the beauty of the area. We will be back, wish I owned it.

“WOWWWW! fantastic place to get away fromm it all.. can recommend it 100%”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

My spouse and I were a bit stressed and was looking for a place to be able to chill out and relax and found this little bit of paradise. Driving up from Glasgow we could feel the tension begin to lift. We stopped and stocked up on provisions as the cottage is self catering. I had packed a few extra things .. utentils cookwear etc as have rented before and found the equipment sorely lacking but was pleasantly surprised to find there was everything you would need.. and more.
As we drove up to the cottage we both held our breaths.. it was so picturesque. We parked at the door and could not wait to explore. The cottage had a warm inviting feeling to it...It is gorgeous. The accommodation is perfect for 4 and the rooms tastefully decorated. Everything was clean and ready for us. I could find no faults at all. The bathroom was large with a bath! and shower and had complementary toiletries and fluffy egyptian cotton towels. Upstairs were two bedrooms. The large master had a queen size bed and the other slightly smaller room contained two singles that can be put together if you want. The egyptian cotton sheets are fantastic and the beds really comfy with good quality pillows, there was more than ample space to hang all our clothes. Everything looks and feels new throughout. The lounge has a log burning fire that we could not wait to try out. the only time I have wanted it to be cold at night! Outside the large garden leads down to shores of the head of Loch Oich. What fantastic views!!! There is a pontoon at the side and you can sit and watch the boats as wait for the bridge to open. We ate our dinner outside and watched the sun go down drink in hand. It was not that cold in the cottage but we just had to light the log burner and in no time we were sitting gazing into the flames, ignoring the telly inn favour of the IPOD connection to play our favorite music. In the morning we were well rested and had our breakfast in the large dining room. We went for a long walks during the day and returned at night to repeat the experience... I can honestly say we were so relaxed at the end of our short break it was amazing. On our drive back to reality we planned to visit one of the other cottages that are advertised so watch this space. This cottage has something for everyone and I can highly recommend it.

“The most beautiful spot in the Highlands”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013 for a stay in May 2013

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful wedding anniversary and a weeks break in this spectacular location. The cottage was a clever mix of traditional highland cottage looks mixed with all the comfort of modern living. We particularly liked the wood burning stove.

Boat watchers would love this cottage, we were amazed to see a large cruise ship, the Lord of the Glens, motor past our garden when we were sitting out for Pimm's.

If you like the Scottish Highlands, this is a great choice.
