“Quite good, pricey drinks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

Good view, nice new refurbishment, you are better off eating outside, lunches are good. Too crowded in the evenings inside.

“Left high and dry”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013 via mobile

We booked a table for 6.30, at 6.45 we were told the chef had refused to take any further orders for the rest of the evening as the kitchen was too busy. We were flabbergasted.
On a brighter note can we recommend the Waterfront next door but one. Slightly more expensive but you get what you pay for....... A meal!!!

“Return to Portpatrick”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

While on holiday, I re-visited the Harbour House and was struck by the tasteful new Conservatory recently added. I ate there twice and sampled the Cullen Skink soup (twice),the most delicious Scallops, and my old favourite, - Steak Pie. The wine was keenly priced and the House lager excellent.

“Dissapointed customers”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

Having being highly recommended by a friend, I booked a table on Monday 15th July for Sunday 21st at 18.30, when we arrived the girl said the table was not set but showed us to a table with no number( which we found out later was No 6), when ordering the meal I was informed there was no lasagne, if we were told this on arrival it would have been helpful, when placing the order I was ask the table number, I said there was none on the table, but explained where we were sitting the member of staff stormed of to look and was muttering under her breath, her attitude was terrible and another customer even told her about it, the staff member that set our table put the cutlery down by holding onto the blade and the prongs of the fork (when did she last wash her hands!) another member of staff was setting a table while chewing gum and blowing bubbles, then a customer proceeded to pass his dog to his wife on the outer deck and the bi-folding doors were fully open an food being served, (not a very good first impression) We will not be back an would not recommend it.
