We stayed here on a 'deal' which included afternoon scone, tea/ coffee and a glass of wine at night. I combined a visit to Nick Nairn's cook school - the best of combinations...(no early morning drive and able to indulge in cook school wine!). We had dinner both nights and enjoyed the food very much. Great breakfast cooked to order rather than dishes kept hot to help yourself. Small points on the down side, a bit noisy from the bins outside the kitchen and through adjoining door in the room we had. The staff are outstanding - friendly helpful and attentive. Gorgeous location with a very welcome log fire in the bar. We would recommend and return.
