“Chill out away from it all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Lovely B & B with stunning views over the Loch. Amazing hospitality by Angie & Mick - they book tables for you in restaurants, or cook your dinner themselves, not to talk of the wonderful breakfast (choose from salmon to porridge). There's also a fridge and a micro, if you want an evening in. They do accept dogs, and they change your towels every day. You might get an extra thrown in, if you are nice....When you leave, you feel like leaving friends. Beautiful surroundings, a good place to get away from everyday stress for a few days.

“4th visit - wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

this was our 4th visit to Tigh-Na-Cala we went to celebrate my dads 60th BD.
We all had a fab time.
as always Mick & Angie provide first class accomodation, hospitality and to notch food.
My dad had great fun trying his dinghy, and we had a great time having a birthday barbie where Mick and Angie joined us.
Again the dogs had a wonderful time and are made so welcome.
thanks so much for the great break

“A warm welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

We really enjoyed the hospitality of Angie and Mick, they make you feel at ease from the moment you meet them.
What an incredible little B&B they run, a true home from home .
Breakfast very tasty with a good selection all cooked to perfection.
Breathtaking does not seem to cover the ever changing beauty of the view they have over the Loch.
We will be back again eather in the car or on the bikes when my son passes his test.
A BIG THANK YOU again.XX

“peaceful, friendly b&b”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

Must recommend this as a lovely place to stay and worth the journey time. for the views alone, it is worth making the trip and the hosts were so lovely. our room was cosy, and very restful at night as it was completely quiet and dark. we could hear the people in the room next door as they packed up to leave early the next morning, but no big deal. tasty breakfasts and a lovely area to explore. you can even lounge on the deck and take in the views, and swim from the bottom of the garden!

“Heaven, Heaven, Heaven!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

Angie and Mick are the most wonderful couple, incredibly helpful, fantastic communications, in fact completely faultless in every single way. What an incredible little B&B they run, this will be the first of many little treks to the area I am sure! They welcome and actually seemed to completely adore our three dogs that raced in to introduce themselves to poor Angie after bouncing all over poor Mick! They then seemed to forget about us being there almost immediately and then spent most of their time either drooling at Angie's side wondering if she would possibly drop something on the floor for them to help clean up for her or waiting for Mick to turn up with one of his treats for them!. The B&B is lovely, breathtaking views - I MEAN BREATHTAKING!!!, beautiful gardens, just got to say more about the view....breathtaking does not seem to cover the ever changing beauty of the view they have, one min mist on the hills, then over the loch, then sunshine, just ever changing and stunning!!....fab accommodation, every single detail thought about and even things you would never think about not only thought about but provided! Spotlessly clean, a true home from home feel that ensure it was beyond relaxing. Thoughtful offerings of homemade shortbread - which was far too yummy for words, delicious cake was also brought in to us by Mick to go with a late afternoon cuppa when we got back from having a little adventure around the area..in fact, it was the best banana, walnut and date cake I have ever tasted...so moist! but this is not a baking review (although they would be given five stars for that too) This is a B&B review and I always book off tripadvisor reviews and so I can assure you, you will simply never, ever find a lovelier little B&B ever...OMG, I nearly forgot the breakfast I have just been reminded....well it was divine, absolutely yummy!! we were still full at 4pm!!! How they can make a profit with the service, standards, food quality and dog treats on offer I will never ever know but I am glad they decided to run a B&B as they are a credit to the industry and give back faith that these lovely little havens still do exist. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a lovely stay and three doggies say thank you too!!!!! It exceeded every single expectation I could have had and the same from my chap who just kept saying to me all the way home what a lovely, genuine and amazing couple they are and what a lovely little home they have too:-) xx
